EVIDENCE - VALUE In an argument the supporting evidence on each side is not all of equal value. Some evidence may give very strong support to the argument but other evidence may be of much less value. For practical purposes we can consider the value of evidence in the following manner: KEY: The whole argument depends on the key point, just as an arch depends on the keystone.
